Why We Need Your Support
We, at Trinity Human Services Corporation, we pray and trust that you are all doing well in this time of challenges with the COVID-19 pandemic. There is no doubt that we are truly living in unprecedented times. It has been a year since the pandemic hit our nation and the world. Our lives have been changed forever.
Families have experienced many difficulties as every part of life has been disrupted. Some parents are not working as a result, they can’t afford to pay rent, buy food, or celebrate Easter with their families. At Trinity Human Services, we want everyone to be able to feel a sense of hopefulness and renewal when celebrating Easter. Especially the people who come to our humble food pantry seeking an emergency supply of food.
In the middle of the pandemic, we are reaching out to our brothers and sisters who are in need of our services. We have seen an increase in the number of clients visiting our pantry. Currently, we are serving 3,500 clients with more visiting each month to our food pantry alone. Our wish is to provide more food than usual during the Easter celebrations. We would like to share the joy of Easter with our clients by offering them Easter baskets to share with their families as a sign of God’s love for them despite the pandemic.
Please join us to help North Brooklyn become stronger by helping our neighbors who are new to this country or who need a little boost to get through this tough times. Your generosity is critical to make this possible for us at Trinity Human Services Center.
May you and your family have a blessed Easter!
With much gratitude and appreciation,
Sister Victoria Kamungu
